Klickr KL Heritage Walk

It is getting boring in here ain’t it? Don’t worry I’m back with some shots from the city again to kill the boredom. This time with Klickr and Kam Raslan for a history lesson. You might see some of these photos at Urbanscapes too.

And thus your new name shall be…Boredom Slayer. I love the view, and the old dude messing with his foot, classic. He does not seem to care at all that he’s outside (or that he’s being photographed in the act), he’s just doing his thing. Classic!!!

You haven’t been around much lately, what happened to you? Question, does it have anything to do with the older fella? 😀

Nothing happened to me, that’s why there are no pictures here lmao.. actually i’ve just been busy with some stuff lately so I hadn’t been going out.

Uh what older fellow? Who’s that?!

The dude messing with his foot/sock, I think it’s the same guy making a sour face on the bench in between the chick and the other dude. I think it’s the thirteenth picture.

I think the summer makes people busy with stuff…I’ve got a dumb question, but how is the job market in your part of the world? Because it stinks here, my friend just fled to Mexico to get a job. I’m thinking of fleeing California too.

Yea, its the same guy lol. Anyway, there’s no seasons or anything here, just summer all year long 😛

Job market is not bad here, salary though, on the other hand isn’t that ideal but the cost of living is surely lower compared to the states so it is still ok.. for now. What do you major in? If you have the goods, you can surely find a job anywhere. The plus side here in Malaysia is that you don’t need to spend much on clothing since there’s only one season.

Let’s see I’ve got a BA in business and a MSE in software engineering. It’s been hard finding the right job, I’m either over qualified, or someone else has more project experience. I was hoping things would turn around and 200 people wouldn’t be fighting over 1 position, last year I was trying to fill my old position and I got over over 200 resumes, I think they still may be applying even though I found someone. It’s enough to make one feel morbid.

Is it spring all year long in Malaysia?

You have a BA in business and a MSE in software engineering and you can’t find a job? That sucks lol, I’m sure our country will have plenty of jobs for you. Btw, does MSE stands for Masters in Science & Engineering?

lol Danny, i thought i wrote it’s summer all year long, how can you even ask me if it’s spring? hahahahaha 😛

Hahahaha Gary, I don’t even know how I missed that. You totally wrote that it was summer all year long. It’s hot right now and my brain is fried. I guess I was hoping there was a land where it was Spring or maybe Fall all year long.

It’s suppose to stand for Masters in Software Engineering, but I wrote BA and then MSE. Yeah, they’re supposed to be good degrees, and they are, it’s just that a lot of the work is outsourced now to other countries, so a lot of people were laid off. So many people are working below their skill set, or changing direction. I am considering that too. I figure my skills and experience can translate elsewhere.

It’s too late brain is fried, like an egg. But a Gary Vacation sounds cool. Maybe I can use what’s left of the old grey matter to have fun. 😀
